Information provided on this website was developed in trying to strengthen Aaronic Priesthood-related activity programs for LDS young men in ward, stake, region, and the BSA scouting districts in
the Taylorsville area of Salt Lake County, Utah and the Spanish Fork and Salem areas of Utah, County, Utah.

Professional: doctorate in the field of social work with specialties in child welfare, planning and evaluation of family-based programs to prevent child maltreatment, and child welfare management information systems. Employment history: manager in state child welfare agency, adjunct appointment at university, consultant. LDS youth-related service: Currently ward Young Mens President/Priests and Venturing Crew Advisor. Formerly Bishop, Ward Young Mens President and Counselor/Quorum Advisor, Varsity Coach; Scoutmaster; Troop, Team, Crew, and Post Committee chair and member; Stake Young Mens President and Counselor; Regional Exploring Training Coordinator, member of YM General Board Task Force on the Activity Programs for 14-18 year old Aaronic Priesthood Holders. Scouting District/Council: Currently District Venturing Teen Leaders Council (TLC) Advisor and member of Utah National Parks Council Venturing Activities Committee. Formerly District Exploring and Venturing Round Table Commissioner; Explorer Training Chairman; District Vice-Chairman for Exploring; District Varsity Committee; Course Director for advanced junior Explorer/Venturer leader courses. Training: Basic training for Scouts, Varsity Scouts, Exploring, Venturing, and Commissioner; Wood Badge (Varsity); Explorer Leadership Institute.
